Dr. A. L. Cabrera is a Professor of Physics at the Physics Department, Pontificia Universidad Catolica of Chile from 1990 to the present. Teaching activities at the undergraduate and graduate levels are carried out during the two regular semesters of the academic year in addition to the research activities associated with the Materials Science Laboratory.  During this time, teaching areas have included: Solid State Physics, Optical and Waves Physics, Physics for Engineers and for Basic Science students. Also, Prof. Cabrera has guided 6 undergraduate and 1 Ph.D. Theses in Physics.
