SpecialtyUltrashort Optical Pulses (Femtoseconds) (saphire-titanium laser), Laser Ablation, Nanochemistry (nm) and Femochemistry (fs), Terahertz Radiation and Metrology.
Experimental Physicist and PhD in Natural Resources from Rostock University, Germany. Since 1998 he has worked at different Optics Laboratories in Germany and Chile. Dr. Seifert currently works at Nonlinear Optics Laboratory of Physics Intitute of Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile.
Some of his research lines are:Quantum Optics, Nonlinear Optics and Femtosecond.
