Specialty: Physics, diagnoses and applications of transient dense plasmas.
He graduated in Physics in 2001 and got his Docto'r Degree in 2008 at Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile. He then worked as Researcher in the Chilean Commission of Nuclear Energy until 2012.
He currently works as an Assistant Porfessor at the Physics Institute of Pontificia Universidad Catolica de Chile.
Interest Areas
- His research areas include the study and characterization of transient dense plasmas (wire array z-pinches, X-pinches, plasma focus, laser produced plasmas, etc) and their application in areas such as optics, laboratory astrophysics, nuclear fusion and materials science.
