Graduated in Chemistry at Universidad de Santiago (2001), she obtained her Ph.D. in Analytical Chemistry and Physico-Chemistry at the Pierre et Marie Curie University (2006) and obtained her PhD in Engineering Sciences, Science of Materials at the Universidad de Santiago (2006). Between 2010 and 2015 he worked as a researcher at the Center for Research and Development in Aerospace Sciences of the Chilean Air Force.

Currently, she works as an Assistant Professor at School of Civil Construction of Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile and has participated as a principal researcher and co-researcher in projects financed by national public tender through Fondecyt and Fondef and also international ones such as AFOSR (Air Force Office of Scientific Research).
