The inner region of the Milky Way Galaxy is one of the most
interesting and complicated regions of the gamma ray sky because of
the many point sources and potential confusion, the uncertainties
associated with the diffuse gamma-ray emission, together with the
potential for dark matter detection. In this talk, we report on the
Fermi-LAT team analysis of a region around the direction of the
Galactic Center.
