Research Activites

Fundamental Research

We aim to investigate the properties of semiconductors and 2D materials, studying intrinsic properties like electrical conductivity, Hall and Seebeck effects by T-dependent transport measurements.
Currently we are working In the study of the light-matter interactions in topological materials and their heterostructures.

Applied Research

We are looking for Innovative Solutions for Energy Production and Storage, Electronic Devices. Using organic, inorganic and hybrid nanomaterials we aim to develop new devices featuring:

  •         - Low Cost

  •         - Enhanced Mechanical Robustness

  •         - Transparency

  •          - Environmental Friendly

We are working with of the Prof. Alexandru Vlad from the UCL (Belgium) within a 2 year project on Lithium Ion batteries funded by the Wallonie Bruxelles Internationale (WBI) Agency. The project aims to develop the Raw Lithium mineral valorization into innovative battery chemistries and devices.
