"Density diagnostic in rubidium vapor with a tunable diode laser"
Resumen:
Abstract : We have studied the effect of laser intensity in the
absorption of 780 nm laser light in a neutral rubidium vapor using a
tunable external cavity diode laser. The dependence of laser
transmission with laser intensity was calculated using Bloch equations
and compared with our experimental results. We have also studied
different methods to obtain well resolved spectra at low laser
intensities. These methods can be extended to the density diagnostic of
low temperature plasmas.
