Science Education is the art to combine scientific and pedagogical knowledge in order to transpose, bring and share Science within students regardless their social, educational and economic contexts.

I am interested in developing new standards of Science Education to improve both scientific quality and motivation of the new generations of professionals in Chile. Since 2009 I have been teaching general Physics courses at UC for students of different professional profiles, such as Engineering, Chemistry, Education, Kinesiology, Physics and Nutrition.

Besides teaching, I am currently participating in the performance agreement
PUC1201 between UC and the Ministry of Education of Chile, which focuses on the innovation of initial teachers formation. I also work in the design and evaluation of the chilean university admission test PSU and the initial teachers formation test INICIA.
