Graduate in Electrical Engineering in 2003, he received a PhD degree in Applied Sciences (2010) from the Université Catholique de Louvain (UCL, Belgium). After a three-year young talent fellowship (BJT) in Brazil, he joined the Institute of Physics of the Pontificia Universidad Católica de Chile in 2016.
His research activities deal with the synthesis and characterization of low-dimensional functional materials for their integration in future electronic applications. The synthesis and the investigation of intrinsic structural and electrical properties (charge/spin injection and transport) of a wide range of nanomaterials (organic/Inorganic, and nanocomposite) are investigated towards the development of innovative solutions for memory devices, (bio)sensors and energy storage technologies.
